Annual Spring Clean Up 

The Commission held its annual Spring Clean Up on June 3, 2009 and the event was a great success. This year a total of 20 companies placed teams in our Corporate Challenge and we collected nearly 100 bags of litter. The 2009 event was sponsored by Clean Nova Scotia, HRM, RBC, and Councillor Gloria McCluskey.

Natal Day

The Downtown Dartmouth Business Commission is one of many community groups that support the Regional Municipality in the development and promotion of Natal Day activities.  We participate as required to ensure that the historic themes of the traditional Dartmouth Natal Day activities are maintained as new generations of citizens enjoy the uniqueness of our Dartmouth community.

The DDBC is actively involved in providing the funding to continue the Dartmouth tradition of fireworks on Lake Banook along with other activities on Lake Banook involving the boat clubs, service clubs and the Natal Day committee.
