Parking in downtown Dartmouth
ON STREET PARKING
There is lots of street parking available throughout Downtown Dartmouth. HRM has a Real Time Paid Parking Availability Map that can help you determine where there is available parking. You can find detailed information about the parking pay zone, pay station locations, and accessible parking spot locations through the HRM's on-street parking map.
You can pay for on-street parking through HotSpot Parking. HotSpot has on-street pay stations as well as a HotSpot Parking App for street parking.

HOTSPOT PARKING APP
The HotSpot App gives users greater convenience in a number of ways such as: notifying users when their meter is near expiry, allowing the user to add more time for their parking session, and giving the user the option to end their session early and be refunded for unused time.
To use the app, download the free app to your phone, enter your license plate, Zone Letter (Downtown Dartmouth on-street parking is Zone H) and the amount of time you would like to park.
HOTSPOT MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES
If you are a frequent HotSpot user, a Hotspot Membership Package may be a good choice for you. The HotSpot Parking App has a $20 (+ tax) Annual Plan, a $2 (+ tax) monthly/visitor fee, or a $2 max (+ tax) pay per use fee. CAA members are eligible for a discounted annual subscription of $18/year (+ tax). Determine which convenient membership package is best for you here. You can access these packages through the HotSpot app.
