PICNIC IN THE PARK

NEW DATE: September 7 at Sullivan's Pond

1-5PM

Join us for the first ever Labour Day Weekend Picnic in the Park at Sullivan's Pond from 1pm-5pm. Enjoy a licensed area where you will be able to purchase craft beverages from some of your favourite local businesses. There will be a community barbecue, music by Isabelle Foster and The Mellotones, an area with chairs, as well as ample space to lay out a blanket and enjoy the community fun!

Isabelle Foster is a young Canadian-Italian singer-songwriter who writes relatable, emotional songs as well as upbeat tracks. Drawing influence from artists such as Lizzy McAlpine and Olivia Rodrigo, she explores the emotional rollercoaster of growing up, capturing the honesty and complexity of teenage life in her lyrics.

THE MELLOTONES

The Mellotones have been bringing their high-octane party to stages around the world for over two decades. Lighting up dance floors wherever they go, the R&B Funk band is an 8-piece powerhouse. From weddings to festivals to late-night clubs and corporate events, their energetic show provides the perfect atmosphere for any occasion.

FAQ & What to Expect

Can I bring a chair to the licensed area?

Unfortunately, chairs cannot be brought into the licensed area. A limited number of chairs will be provided for attendees to use on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage folks to bring a blanket/towel to relax and enjoy the afternoon!

Can I sit outside of the licensed area?

Absolutely! There will be fencing surrounding the licensed area, outside of this fencing you are welcome to enjoy the concert as you do on any other occasion. Chairs are permitted outside of the licensed area.

Can I purchase non-alcoholic drinks in the licensed area?

Yes! There will be both craft beverages and water available for purchase in the licensed area (credit/debit only).

Will there be food available?

Yes! There will be a community barbecue set up outside of the licensed area with food and beverages available for purchase (cash, credit/debit).

19+ TO PURCHASE OR CONSUME ALCOHOL
Government-issued ID may be required.

GUESTS UNDER 19 MUST BE ACCOMPANIES BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN

Minors must not be served alcohol.

NO SMOKING, CANNABIS, OR VAPING

The Park and licensed area is smoke-free, cannabis-free, and vape-free.

ALCOHOL MUST REMAIN IN THE LICENSED AREA
Do not take drinks outside of the fenced area.

MAXIMUM OF TWO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Per customer, per transaction.

LAST CALL: 4:30PM

Alcohol service ends 30 minutes before the event ends.

CHAIRS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE LICENSED AREA
